Row for Giving Back USA

24 Rounds - 10min Row, 50min Rest

WORKOUT DETAILS: This workout is done like an EMOM (Every Minute On the Minute – except in this case “Hour”).

The event is a row for MAXIMUM meters, where participants will row as hard as they can for 10 minutes and then recover for 50 minutes. They will complete 24 rounds, encompassing an entire 24-hour period. This workout was originally written by a retired U.S. Marine Corps Major and CrossFit HQ staff member, Brian "Tosh" Chontosh.

Purpose of the event: We are looking to support our veterans in every capacity possible. Gviing Back USA is dedicated to providing supportive therapeutic mental health activities, events, and resources to Active Duty Military, Veterans, First Responders, and their immediate families.

Participation and Rules: There will be gyms who have stepped up as "Hosting Sites." Each hosting site will have their own venue approach and in-house rules/guidelines. You are allowed to do it remotely outside of a hosting gym as an independent or remotely from a hosting gym/site. This is a 24hr Challenge that will start on Saturday, April 30th at 12:00AM PST, and will run till May 1st, 12:00AM PST. This will challenge every participant's mental and physical abilities over a longer than average fitness domain. It is highly recommended to have some level of fitness capacity for this event, and more importantly, not be in the process of nursing any injuries. This style of event could be done with a consistent level of fitness regime but does not require extreme level athletes. ALL LEVELS OF FITNESS are encouraged to join in and test their mental fortitude.

One participant per registration. *If participants want to partner-up or create a team at a hosting site, that is perfectly ok . Just know that each individual will still need to register - it's about supporting the organization!!!! Hosting sites are allowed to conduct their own internal incentives if they would like, but they do this under their own discretion. **NO REFUNDS

Remote participation: *If you are participating in the comfort of your own home or outside a hosting site, submission of hourly meters is highly encouraged. Email updates will be sent out as logistics get dialed in.
